Domain Registation / Hosting

We can register domain names and arrange hosting for web sites designed and maintained by ourselves. The standard hosting package provided by our preferred hosting provider is suitable for most web sites that we develop and includes the following main benefits:-

• Unlimited web space* - so suitable for large web sites and photo galleries
• Unlimited bandwidth** - so your website will not be deliberately taken offline if your site has an unexpected surge in popularity
• Up to 5 databases can be created - which means up to 5 different web applications can be installed e.g. CMS, Blog, LMS, Wiki and a forum can all run on the same domain name and hosting package
• Unlimited number of email forwarding accounts can be created so you can recieve emails sent to your domain name direct in your Hotmail, Yahoo or GMail account
• Up to 5 POP3 mail accounts with unlimited storage* can be created - although you need to use a desktop email client e.g. Outlook or ThunderBird. However, this does mean that you can send emails using your domain name

Notes:
* - unlimited storage means that the hosting provider has not set a specific limit and retain the right to re-assess the situation if they deem it excessively high.
** - unlimited bandwidth has similar interpretation as unlimited storage. Additionally, excessively high demand e.g. in the form of a DoS / DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Service) can still make a site unavailable.
